How Online DVD Rental System works
Most companies operate on the following Video rental model:
- The customer registers for the online DVD rental service using the Movie Rental software or game rental software
- He creates and manages a list of titles that he wants to see. These titles are arranged in the order of priority.
- Titles from the list are mailed to the customer by an automatic algorithm ( called the DVD rental Algorithm)
- The customer watches the films and then sends them back to the DVD rental company.
Most companies will let customers keep the films for as long as they want; customers are, however, limited to a set number of discs out at any one time. The limit can also be set on how many DVD titles can be rented in a month.
Memberships are usually billed monthly, quarterly and annually based on customer preference and includes postage both ways. Some companies also offer delivery through delivery boys instead of the conventional shipping and postage.
The Rental payment can be made through credit cards, cash or cheque. This is the most common framework of DVD rental : Games or Movie Rental followed by Online Video Rental Business all over the world.
