DVD Rental Solutions has a strong and highly automated inventory management system.

The movie and games manager modules ask for stock avaialablity and pricing during the entry of the Details of DVD. The code for each DVD/blu-ray are generated automatically by the system based on whether it is sales or rental stock.The Quantity of Selling DVD and Renting DVD are recorded separated separately.

The stock status can be monitored by the administrator. When stock goes low, alerts are send to the administrator so he has sufficient time to replenish it. The system also has custom reports that allow for better demand and purchase management decision 

The rental software has a unique feature where some movies or games cabn be added as dummy stock. This means there is not actual inventory for these in the system. The moment any user adds any such DVD to his Queue, an alert is sent to the admin. 

The inventory also governs the availability status alerts that are displayed to the user on the front-end
